March 28, 2023 Eastern Nazarene extends win string on Tuesday Everyone likes to win and getting a long winning streak can turn around a season. Eastern Nazarene extended the longest current win streak to 14 on Tuesday. The next longest streak is owned by Oneonta State at 12 games.
March 22, 2023 Walk it off Bobcats, Red Dragons and Engineers Nothing triggers the on-field celebration like a walk-off. Pitt-Greensburg did it Wednesday as did the WPI Engineers. The Red Dragons of Oneonta did it as well.
April 23, 2022 Foglia cycle ignites sweep SUNY Oneonta won a crucial series and kept their playoff chances alive after defeating New Paltz in a SUNYAC doubleheader, 3-2 and 13-12, Saturday afternoon. Freshman Anthony Foglia had the hot bat in game two and went 5-for-6 with three RBI and hit for the cycle.
May 6, 2021 SUNY Oneonta Splits with Nationally Ranked Oswego The SUNY Oneonta baseball team split their SUNYAC doubleheader against Nationally Ranked SUNY Oswego Thursday afternoon at Red Dragon Baseball Field. The Lakers pounded out 18 hits to take the first game 19-5 before the Red Dragons captured the nightcap 5-2 on a brilliant pitching performance from senior southpaw Michael Losak.
May 1, 2021 New Paltz Silences Oneonta Bats in SUNYAC Doubleheader Sweep The SUNY Oneonta baseball team was swept by SUNY New Paltz in a SUNYAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Red Dragon Field with scores of 1-0 and 6-3. The sweep drops the Red Dragons record to 10-8 overall with a 5-7 mark in league play.
April 24, 2021 SUNY Oneonta Splits With Cortland The SUNY Oneonta baseball team split their SUNYAC doubleheader with SUNY Cortland Saturday afternoon at Robert H. Wallace Field. Oneonta dropped the first game 22-1 before taking the night cap 2-1. The win was Oneonta’s first regular season victory over Cortland since April 10, 2016.
